Once you have created a Group in Rezlynx, you can perform a variety of actions - including: creating a mid-stay change, setting up a Group Series, adding release rules, holding rooms on a block, picking up rooms, configuring charge routing, adding a master account, changing Group dates, cancelling a Group, and generating Group reports - all designed to help you manage your group bookings in the best way for your property and your team.
A mid-stay change can be set up on a group after you have saved it for the first time. The mid-stay change allows you to have a different rate plan or price on different nights of the group. Any reservations picked up after you have set this mid stay change, will automatically have this applied to them.
Add a mid-stay change to a Group booking
To add a mid-stay change to a Group booking, follow the steps below:
Within your Group booking, select the Main tab.
Click Add within Mid Stay Changes box.
Enter the dates for the mid-stay change, then click Rate Plan Search and select your rate.
The Mid Stay Changes box will show the changes made, select Options and Override if you want to override the rate further.
📌 Note: This option will only be available once a block has been entered in the Block tab on the Group.
Repeat steps 2-4 if mid-stay changes are needed for multiple nights.
Once completed as required, click Save in the bottom right of the screen.
Any rooms picked up on the block will now automatically have the mid-stay changes applied. However any rooms picked up prior to the changes, will have to be manually adjusted.
