Our core portfolio of Flash, Pickup & Cancellation reporting is focused on giving management and back office teams simple yet flexible reporting on what’s happening across their business, as well as the pace of new business generation. This knowledge base article gives a summary overview of each of the reports currently available in Guestline Insights and what they can be used for.

How to access Insights reports

To access Insights, follow the steps below:

  1. In Rezlynx, click the Apps & Property icon, four squares, in the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Select Insights icon.

  3. Once the Insights page has loaded, all Reports are listed down the left-hand side.

Insights reports

Below is a summary of some of the main reports within Insights...


Bookings

  • A detailed visual picture of bookings for a given period.

  • Use it to predict the busiest & quietest days for front office teams, and planning staff rotas.

  • Use it to analyse the booking window of future or historic stays and break down by channel – ideal for constructing & modifying short-term forecasts.

  • Can be drilled down to from the Flash report.

  • 60 days’ worth of data +/- the current data is available.

  • Data can be exported into a pack of CSV files.

Booked Revenue

  • A detailed visual picture of booked bedroom revenue for a given period.

  • Use it to predict revenue turnover related to bedroom sales, and identify the impact of no-shows on predicted turnover.

  • Use a range of market segment and revenue category visualisations and filtering to explore data and uncover any interesting trends.

  • 60 days’ worth of data +/- the current data is available.

  • Data can be exported into a pack of CSV files.

Posted Revenue

  • A detailed visual picture of actual revenue turnover.

  • Use it to evaluate year-over-year revenue performance.

  • Use a range of segmentation visuals & filters to explore revenue turnover and identify trends, opportunities & pain points.
