An Advanced C&B event will consist of one or more functions. For example, a Wedding event may include distinct functions such as the Wedding Breakfast, Wedding Reception, and Ceremony each designed to offer unique experiences for the event booker and their guests.
Functions are created within an event, using specific function types and function templates, and when functions are checked in the revenue is raised within the system. Functions can also be copied, cancelled, and reinstated as required. Functions can also be searched for within the system at any time.
A function can be copied within an event, using the copy button on the function. Not to be confused with Copy an event.
To copy a function within an event, follow the steps below:
Within Rezlynx navigate to Advanced C&B, then select Search/Create Events.
Using the Event Search Parameters find the event that needs to be edited.
Click on the Event Reference.
Once within the event, scroll down to the function and click Copy.
Select the Event Copy Status required for the event, and select the items from the event you wish to Use The Same on the copied event.
Select your required Copy Intervals from the list, including:
Same Day - copies to the same date. Select the number of copies.
Consecutive Days - copies consecutively from a chosen date. Select the number of days to copy and the start date to copy from.
Click Copy.
Click Save.
