Templates are used to add all of your function notes, menus, resource items, rates, rooms and layouts to an event during its creation. They work well when used with packages that always contain set information. They are designed to speed up the booking process for the user. When they are created you will build everything into it that is always required. You are still able to amend all items on the event after it's creation.
Function templates are organised by template groups, please ensure you have the groups in place prior to creating a new function template.
Create a function template group
To create a function template, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Advanced C&B, then from the Configuration menu, select Function Templates.
Click New Template Group.
Enter the Group Description which will show exactly as typed.
Click Save.

Navigate to Advanced C&B, then from the Configuration menu, select Function Templates.
Click New Template Group.
On the Description tab, enter the required information:
Template code with a maximum of 12 characters (no symbols or spaces), this cannot be changed once saved.
Description of the item and is seen by the user.
Template Group to be selected.
Available for arrival from and to should match your function types.
Click Save to unlock the contents tab.
On the Contents tab, click Add Function in the order you need them and complete the Function Room information.
Repeat Add Function until all functions are added.
Selection Options to add menus and resources if required.
On the Notes tab, add notes to the relevant boxes to automatically populate on the event.
Click Save.
⚠️ Important: If you no longer need a template, you are able to delete it from here.
