A function type is a section of your event, for example in a wedding you may need different functions for ‘wedding breakfast’, ‘wedding reception’ and ‘wedding ceremony’. You will need a function type for everything you do in the system.
If you have parts of your event happening in different places, they will need a separate function type.
To create function types, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Advanced C&B, then from the Configuration menu, select Function Types.
Click New and enter the required information:
Code is limited to 3 letters and is displayed within this section of the system only.
Description is what the user will see.
Valid From and To should be added her, with end times set at 23:55.
Click Save.
⚠️ Important: Configuration that has been previously used on an event should not be deleted as it may cause errors in the system. You would need to ensure that no events past, present or future have this function type, prior to deleting a function type otherwise this may cause data issues.
