Guestline Rezlynx: Housekeeping Sections overview

You can create and manage housekeeping sections to organise your rooms for reporting purposes in a few simple steps.

Navigation

To access housekeeping sections, navigate to:

System, Codes & Rules, and then select Housekeeping Sections

Create a New Housekeeping Section

To create a new Housekeeping Section, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to System, Codes & Rules, and then select Housekeeping Sections.

  2. Click New and a new row will be added to the grid.

  3. Enter a HK Room Section Description code in capitals or numbers, and add a HK Room Section Description.

  4. Click Save Changes.


Remove an Existing Housekeeping Section

To remove an existing housekeeping section, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to System, Codes & Rules, and then select Housekeeping Sections.

  2. Click Delete next to the relevant entry.


Using Housekeeping Sections in Reports

The sections can then be added to the Room Status Report.

Accessing the Room Status Report

Navigate to Reports Icon, Housekeeping, then select Room status.

Configuring the Report

To configure the Room Status report, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Reports Icon, Housekeeping, then select Room status.

  2. Update the housekeeping sections.

  3. Click Save Changes

  4. Click Print by Section box to print each section on its own page.
