Guestline Rezlynx: Q-Rooms overview

You can prioritise check ins by marking the room as a Q-Room to be cleaned more urgently than others, in a few easy steps.

You can prioritize check in’s by placing them on the Q-Rooms report.

This will produce a time stamp on the check in, housekeeping can then clean the rooms in order of arrival time.

Add a Q-Room

To mark bedrooms reservations as Q-Rooms, follow the steps below:

  1. Within Rezlynx navigate to Guest Journey, then Front Office, then Check In.

  2. Select a specific room, using the tick the box on the left and select Add to Q at the bottom of the screen.

Once added, the room will be marked on the Check In page with a flag, as seen below:

View Q-Rooms

To view the Q-Rooms report, follow the steps below:

  1. Within Rezlynx navigate to Guest Journey, Front Office, Q-Rooms.

  2. Select the required Display option, and click Refresh.

  3. The report is generated, and you can make changes to the rooms based on their allocation status:

    • If the room is unallocated: you have the option to Allocate the room.

    • If the room is allocated: you have the option to Change the housekeeping status using the drop-down menu, or the option to Un-Allocate the room.

There is no option to print this report - however you could screen print if you PC has this option.


Remove from Q-Rooms

To remove from Q-rooms, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the reservation.

  2. Select the 3-dot menu at the bottom of the screen, then select Remove from Q.

The Q-room is now removed from the Q.
