Occasionally, you may need to move a guest from one room to another—whether to accommodate a special request, resolve maintenance issues, or optimise your room allocation.

Drag and drop within the Planner

  1. Navigate to Guest Journey, then select Property, and then select Planner.

  2. Click and drag the reservation to the new room number.

  3. You can move the booking to a different room type if required.

📌Note: You may see the following Warning Messages:

    • If the rate plan is unavailable for the new room type, you’ll receive a warning.

    • If the price differs, you’ll be asked whether to retain the original rate or apply the new rate.

Unallocate and reallocate within the Planner

If your property has many rooms, you may find it safer to manually move the reservation.

  2. Click on the reservation and select Unallocate.

  3. Find the desired room on the planner and click the white box next to it.

  4. Choose Allocate Booking, then select the booking and click Allocate.
