Cancellation Codes are used when cancelling a reservation. When you cancel a booking, you can select an appropriate code from your pre-populated list. This helps categorise the reason for cancellation and maintain accurate records.
Alongside the code, you’ll also have access to a free-text notes box, allowing you to provide more specific details about the cancellation if needed.
Create and manage
To create and manage reservation cancellation codes, follow the steps below:
Navigate to System, then select Codes & Rules, and then select Cancellation Codes.
You can then:
Click New to create a code.
Click Delete to remove a code from use.
Click to edit a code, then select Save Changes.
Cancellation
The cancellation codes will show within the system when cancelling a reservation, as shown below:
Notes can be added to provide further information on the cause of the cancellation.
