Room Blocks are usually created when you want to sell those rooms online. If you are not selling the rooms online, via the Distribution Hub, then you might like to create a Group instead.

Create a block rhythm in Room Blocks
If your block is staying for a longer period of time, ‘Block Rhythm’ allows you to add the number of rooms required per night in one step, rather than filling in each box individually. In order to use block rhythm, you must select a combination of room type and number of occupants first.
To create a block rhythm in a Room Block, follow the steps below:
Within your Room Block, select the Block tab.
Click Block Rhythm.
Complete the required fields, including:
Block Value: Number of rooms required.
Room Type: Select which combination you want to fill, so if you’ve selected a combination for 1 adult and 2 adults, it will provide a drop-down for this selection.
Start/End Date: Which nights do you wish to use the block rhythm feature for? This will default to the block start and end dates already entered.
Cycle: Select one of these options: Daily, Weekly or Monthly. When using groups, the most common option would be to select daily, as this will block off the number of rooms selected above on each day of your block.
📌 Note: If you select one of the other cycles, fill in how the system should be blocking off your rooms.
Once set as required, click OK.
Your block will then be filled in - available rooms and rooms available for pick up will adjust accordingly.
Click Save to finish the block rhythm.
