You can use logs to show changes that have taken place within the system. This article focuses on Reservation logs, rather than any other Rezlynx Logs.

This article provides further information on:

  • Logs within Reservations, within the Notes & Logs tab

  • Reservation Logs report

Logs within reservations

Viewing changes to reservations, including: booking creation, upsells being added modified and removed, booking line changes, when a booking was checked in and out, hotel or room type overbookings, status change, and email sending.

From May 2025 logs are changing, in the following ways:

  • The 'Simple Logs' button is being removed.

  • The 'Detailed Logs' button is being replaced with a ‘Logs’ button.

When the new Logs button is selected, a Reservation History timeline is shown on the right hand-side of the screen. Users can scroll through to see information about the reservation.

At the bottom of the timeline, another 'Logs’ button is available for users who still need access to the traditional Detailed Logs view. The Detailed Logs view now includes a Share your feedback button to collect any feedback you might have for the team. Users can select to sort the events, to display either the oldest or newest at the top of the page.
