Non-Resident Accounts (NRAs) have a variety of uses most commonly:
Creating a No-Show Invoice
Adding in additional items and purchases not linked to a reservation - i.e. Product purchased from reception or a giftshop.
You would first create the Non-Resident Account, then add the charges and manage the billing as required.
Create a Non-Resident Account (NRA)
To create a Non-Resident Account (NRA), follow the steps below:
Navigate to Guest Journey, then from the Billing menu, select NRA's & Masters.
Click Create button on the upper left of the screen.
Enter the NRA information as required, including:
Description best practice is to add guest name, booking reference and reason for the charge. This is only seen by users, not guests.
Name should be entered and linked to a profile where possible, and always where a full receipt is required for the guest.
Market Segment must be selected from the drop-down menu.
Media Source must be selected from the drop-down menu.
Interface Postings Mode determines whether charges can be transferred to the NRA, select an option from the drop-down menu.
Credit Limit must be added to able billing items to be added to the NRA.
PO Ref if applicable.
Click Save.
Add charges to a Non-Resident Account (NRA)
To apply charges to a Non-Resident Account (NRA), follow the steps below:
Find your NRA within the list of NRA's & Masters, and on the right-hand side click Billing.
🤓 Tip: NRA's & Masters list is organised by booking ref, with the most recently created at the bottom of the list.
Your NRA can now be used like any other Room Billing Account
When the NRA balance is at zero, you can Check Out the room billing.
Once checked out, a pop-up will ask if you would like to create another identical NRA.
