Guestline GuestStay: Kiosks – restrict payment requests

You can restrict payment requests for specific rate plans during kiosk check-in in a few simple steps.

This functionality is available subject to the terms of your GuestStay plan.

Hiding the rate on the registration card ensures guests are not prompted for payment during kiosk check-in for the selected rate plans.

This is commonly applied to Online Travel Agent (OTA) and Corporate rate plans. If a rate plan is not exclusively used by OTA or Corporate client, consider how payments will be requested via the kiosk before applying this setting.

Kiosks – restrict payment requests

To stop payments being requested for a specific rate plan during Kiosk check in, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to System, Rates and then select Rate Plans.

  2. From the left-hand menu, choose the rate plan you want to update.

  3. Scroll down to the MISC section.

  4. Tick the Hide Rate On Reg Card checkbox.

    📌Note: This hides the rate from the registration card and prevents payment being requested during kiosk check-in.

  5. Click Save to apply the update.

⚠️Important: If you need to restrict payment requests for additional rate plans, repeat steps 1–5 for each one.
