This functionality is available subject to the terms of your GuestStay plan.
This feature enables your property to email guests directly, encouraging them to enhance their stay by booking additional services, upgrading their rooms, or reserving a table at the restaurant.
Activation
To activate or deactivate this feature, follow the steps below:
Within Rezlynx PMS, select Menu.
Select GuestStay, then under Configuration select Functionality.
Scroll down to Configure your GuestStay experience.
Slide the toggle next to Email Offers to activate or deactivate as required.
Automated upsell emails to guests
The automated email is sent exclusively to guests 7 days prior to arrival, including OTA bookings.
The content of the emails is not configurable, however, it will use the hotels' branding and colours. An example of the email is shown below:
The email contains:
Reservation information including the booking reference, dates, and the names of the guests.
Upgrade options to a list of available rooms.
Upsells and extras to further enhance their stay, including ones they may have already booked.
Book a table available for properties with a ResDiary integration.
When a guest clicks on an item in the email, they are directed to the corresponding page within the Guest Portal—whether for Extras, Room upgrades, or Restaurant bookings. From there, they can browse items and costs, and select their desired options as seen below:
Troubleshooting
Who receives this email? All reservations will receive this email 7 days prior to arrival, including bookings made via OTAs.
Can i see these emails in the Reservation history? The emails will not show in the Reservation History section of the reservation for upsell emails sent, however digital registration emails will show here.
Prices are not showing in the email: They will not show here, the recipient will click within the email to be taken to the Guest Portal to process their reservation enhancements.
Book a table option is not showing for our guests: If you do not have ResDiary integrated into your system then you will not see this option. If you do have ResDiary integrated please contact our team.
Can i change when this sends? The email is automated to send 7 days prior to arrival.
