VIP Levels can be added to a guest profile. You can have up to nine VIP codes and if used they are visible from within a customer profile, on your dashboard, on the check-in page and can also be reported on through the guest list.
The VIP level is set within the guest's profile.
The VIP status set for a guest can be seen in the system within the following areas:
Dashboard tab shows the total number of VIP guests arriving.
Check-in screen shows the VIP level per guest.
Guest list VIP box shows the VIP level per guest.
Add VIP level to a guests' profile
To add a VIP level to a guests' profile, follow the steps below:
Navigate to the guests' profile.
Tip: You can navigate to the guests' profile in the following ways:
Within a reservation, if the guests' profile is linked click Edit to access the profile.
Type the guests' name into the Universal Search bar at the top of the screen, then click to open the profile.
Navigate to Profiles, select People, then select Search. Use the search parameters to locate the profile.
Within the Preferences section, click VIP menu and select VIP status from the drop-down menu as shown below:
Click Save.
The VIP status will remain assigned to the profile until it is removed or changed by a user.
Create and manage VIP level
⚠️ Important: The system supports a maximum of nine VIP levels, and this limit cannot be increased.
To create and manage VIP levels, follow the steps below:
Navigate to System, select Codes & Rules, then select VIP Descriptions.
Click a VIP description and type to create or edit.
Click Save Changes.
VIP levels cannot be deleted. Instead, you can update the VIP description by overwriting or removing the description entirely.
