Guestline Rezlynx: Availability Re-sync for the PMS

You can perform an availability re-sync for the PMS in a few simple steps.

A scheduled task is set to run once a day to automatically re-sync availability for present and future dates. However occasionally bookings may be temporarily caught within the system and need to be refreshed or re-synced manually.

For example, you may need to complete a manual Re-sync:

  • If availability is showing differently compared to the Planner

  • If availability has failed to update following bulk cancellations

  • If availability has failed to update following an abandoned booking

⚠️ Important: Synchronisation operations can put an increased load on our systems for short periods of time. Therefore, it's important to select only the dates that you believe to be relevant to your issue. For example, if you suspect the availability is wrong for today, then please synchronise only the current date and not a long date range.

To perform an availability re-sync for the PMS for a present or future date, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to System, Tools, Re-sync, then Availability.

  2. Within Availability, select the specific Start and End date that needs a re-sync.

    📌 Notes: Avoid selecting more than a day or two as this may impact your system speed.

  3. Click Confirm to perform the Re-sync.

  4. Check the Availability chart to see if the room or rooms are now showing as expected.
