When building a rate plan you can make it accessible via a specific promotional code in the following ways:
Promo Code in Rezlynx for internal use only for bookings via phone or email.
Rate Access Code hides the rate plan until the unique code is entered online or used in a deep link.
Discount Codes (Currently in BETA testing).
Create a promotional code
⚠️ Important: The promotional code is created within Rezlynx and does not feed online. The promotional code is for internal use only, and must be manually added when your staff are creating the booking.
To create a Rezlynx only promotional code, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Rezlynx, System, Rates and Promotional Codes.
Select the Rate Plan you wish to add a promotional code to.
Select Add.
Enter the Promotional Code & Date Range that is is available for.
Click Save Changes.
⚠️ Important:
The same promotional code can be used on multiple rate plans.
The rate will not be visible outside of the promotional code dates.
This does not feed up to Roomlynx, must be created again as a Rate Access Code if you wish to have on your DBM
