Overview of the report
The Posting report is a detailed report showing all posted transactions & charges.
This report can be used to ensure that postings have gone through correctly & to the right analysis codes.
How to run the report
To run the report, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Rezlynx, Accounting, Reports and then select Posting
Complete any of the following fields to return the information you require:
Start date and time - click to type date or select icon to search the calendar to select date and select time
End date and time - click to type date or select icon to search the calendar to select date and select time
For period - select a period from the drop-down
Period ID & Search - enter a specific period ID or select search to find the required period ID.
Operator - multi-select drop down if you wish to view transactions for a specific user(s)
Room ID - multi-select drop down if you wish to view transactions for a specific room(s)
Analysis codes - multi-select drop down for analysis codes
Show by - select from the drop-down to order results by posted date or for date
Show splits (tick box) - when ticked this breaks down a posting to show any inclusive items that made up a package
Booking ref - can be entered, however you do not add in the room pick number (i.e. /00).
Limit to - this limitation on the number of lines of data to be returned can be overtyped to allow more results to be displayed
Rate plans posted deleted (tick boxes) - by ticking the boxes you can enable the results to be filtered further
Standard posted deleted (tick box) - by ticking the boxes you can enable the results to be filtered further
Deposits - by ticking this box you can show deposits within the report output
Click the refresh button to view the results on screen. Alternatively, click the view drop-down to select the output format.

Report output
The report output includes both resident and checked-out transactions.
When viewing the report on screen (rather than via a View format), you can click on the column headers to sort the data from ascending to descending and vis versa.
The number of transactions and the nett/gross values are totalled at the end of the report.
Example of output:
The status column provides further information on the transaction status with options including: 'None', 'Paid', 'Deleted' and 'Adjusted'; whilst the item type column provides information on the type of transaction with options including: 'Rate plan header', 'Manual product', 'General', and 'Auto inclusive products'.

Troubleshooting
Use the postings report to Find specific analysis code charges shown on end of day report
Unable to find the charges for a group: Make sure to use the booking reference rather than the group code as the group code, often starting GA..., will not return any postings.
