Hotkeys sit in a row just below the search bar, giving you easy access to menu items with just one click.

Hotkey Groups

Hotkey groups allow you to group pages within one cascading Hotkey. You might have a group for creating a reservation, creating a rate plan, separate groups for morning, afternoon and evening activities, reports etc.

Hotkeys and hotkey groups are customisable – you can choose which pages to add to your Hotkeys bar, which colours to assign and what to call each Hotkey.

The Hotkeys Bar

Let’s take a closer look at all the features of the hotkeys bar:

From left to right, we have...

  • Menu Button: Opens the Rezlynx menu in a sidebar

  • Most Viewed: Lists your top 10 most viewed pages. This is a dynamic list, so it can change over time.

  • Create Reservation: Opens a pop-up allowing you to quickly create a reservation without leaving the page you were on.

  • Favourites: If you selected favourites in the previous version of Rezlynx, you’ll find them here in a hotkey group.

  • Hotkey Groups: Indicated by the folder icon. Click on a hotkey group to see the pages within. In the example, we can see three hotkeys inside the “Reports” hotkey group.

  • Hotkeys: We also have a couple of individual hotkeys in the example (Guest Requests and Check Out)

  • Add to Hotkeys: Clicking the star icon will let you quickly add the current page to your hotkeys

  • Hotkeys Editor: The pencil icon opens the hotkeys editor, described in more depth in our guide Editing Hotkeys.
