PLU packages are used for items made up of other PLUs (e.g., a cocktail or Gin & Tonic). When sold, the package will display as individual items of stock, and suggest selling prices and Gross Profit % (if stock items are configured).
📌 Note: PLUs within a package will report individually in advanced reports, not the package itself.
Steps to create a PLU package
To create a PLU package, follow thew steps below:
Go to EPoS Back Office, PLU Setup then PLU Items.
Create the PLU for the drink (e.g., Gin & Tonic).
Tick the box that says package, then click edit package, then click Save.
Adding component PLUs
To add component PLUs, follow the steps below:
In the pop-up window, add the component PLU items (e.g., Gordon's Gin 25ml, Tonic 120ml).
Use the dropdown in the top right to select the charge code of the PLU you want to add.
You can filter items by brand and category, or search for them using the search box.
Once you've located the PLU, double-click it to add it to the package.
Repeat this process until all component PLUs are added.
Click save to return to the PLU build screen and click save.
