To map rate plans or room types to an existing Extended Channel, follow the steps below:

📌 Note: The rate plan and room types must be exposed to Distribution from within the rate plan and the same must be built in the Travel Agents portal/extranet.

  1. Navigate to Extended Channels, select the Enabled Channel that you wish to update.

    • Note: A list of all rooms and rate combinations are displayed – scroll to the bottom of the list, any greyed-out rooms are those that have not yet been exposed to the connection.

  2. Scroll to the room you wish to update, then click Map.

  3. Confirm the Property ID for this mapping (this must be selected to progress).

  4. On the next screen the room and rate combination from the Travel Agents portal will be on the left-hand side, and a mapping dropdown box. Select the Rate Plan and Room Type conversions that match with the Travel Agent Portal.

  5. Click Save.

📌 Note: An automated sync to the Travel Agent Portal will occur upon saving. If after 20 mins the rate/restrictions do not look correct, a manual resync can be performed by clicking Sync next to each Room Type.
