Guestline Distribution Hub: Extended Channels removing a connection

You can remove an Extended Channel connection in a few easy steps.

⚠️ Important: To remove a Travel Agent connection from Extended Channels the property MUST communicate the disconnection with the Travel Agent directly prior to un-mapping in Extended Channels.

To remove a channel connection, follow the steps below:

  1. From within Rezlynx, select Rates, and then Restrictions.

  2. Select the Rate Plan (mapped to the Travel Agent) from the left-hand menu, then set a Close Out, and select Save Changes.

  3. Once completed, please check that this has been applied to that Travel agent by logging into their extranet directly.

  4. With the close-out in place, navigate to Extended Channels, and select the Enabled Channel to be removed. Select Unmap next to each Room Type under each Rate.

  5. Finally, at the top of the page next to the Property ID select Remove. This will then remove the connection from being active.

⚠️ ​Important: Once the connection is no longer active, any reservations previously made will not be updated or changed so any Cancellations or modifications will need to be manually updated by the property.
