Guestlines' Financial Export tool extracts end‑of‑day financial information into a customisable CSV file - covering revenue, payments, VAT etc - which can then be imported into other accounting software.

You can learn more about specific Financial Export actions using our guides:

You may need to re-run exports if you have noticed that there is data missing from your file. This can be caused by Analysis Codes, Pay Types, or Tax Codes missing configuration or not being exposed to the report in Rezlynx.

To re-run the export, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Financial Export application.

🤓Tip: There should be a desktop shortcut, often found on an accounts department computer.

2.Click Configure.

3. Navigate to the Site Setup tab, scroll down to the Period Type to export and note the period type.

🤓 Tip: Below are the acronyms used for Period Types-
EOS – End of Shift
EOD – End of Day
EOW – End of Week
EOM – End of Month

4. Log in to Rezlynx.

5. Within Rezlynx navigate to Accounting, Period End, then Period End Archive.

6. Set the Period Closed between dates to cover the period required for the export re-run, and select the Period Type to match the Financial Export.

7. Once you have found the Period End Archive report to cover the date for the re-run of the export, note the Rezlynx Period ID in the far left column.

8. Open the Financial Export application.

9. Click Configuration, then select the Site Listing tab.

10. Click on the Last Period ID and type in the Rezlynx Period ID.

11. Click Save and then click Exit.

12. To manually re-run the export, select Export. Once the tool says Export Finished, all the files will have been re-exported.
