Advanced C&B Enquiries can be created to handle initial event enquiries. The enquiries can be located at any time for review, and can be converted to an event booking or cancelled as required.

To convert an event Enquiry

⚠️ Important: When converted, notes in the Enquiry Notes section will be lost, and any attached checklists will now appear in the event checklist.

To convert an event Enquiry, follow the steps below:

  1. Within the Enquiry, click on the Notes tab. Copy any notes within Enquiry Notes and paste into another note box to ensure these are converted to your new event.

  2. Within the Enquiry Main tab, click Convert on the enquiry you want to change.

  3. The enquiry is converted into an event, edit the event booking as required and select Save.

To close an event Enquiry

📌 Note: Enquiries can be deleted or closed. Closing an enquiry means it will still show within reporting and can be reinstated if needed, whereas a deleted enquiry is completely removed from the system and excluded from reporting.

To close an event Enquiry, follow the steps below:

  1. Within the Enquiry, select Options and then Close Enquiry.

  2. Select the Code or Description from the drop-down menu.

    • Tip: If the close codes do not suit your needs, these can be created.

  3. Enter a Reason for the enquiry being closed.

  4. Select if you wish to retain the checklist on the closed enquiry.

  5. Click Save to close this enquiry.

To reinstate a closed event enquiry

To reinstate a closed event Enquiry, follow the steps below:

  1. Within the closed enquiry, select Reinstate in the bottom right of the screen.

  2. Make any changes required and click Save.
