This article will enable you to manage the mapping of your rates between Rezlynx, Distribution Hub and Direct Booking Manager.
Map, or unmap, DBM rates
To map, or unmap, DBM rates, follow the 2-step process below:
Step 1 - Add or remove mapping in Distribution Hub
Navigate to Manage Rates, in either of the ways outlined below:
In Rezlynx PMS select Distribution Hub, then under Rates select Manage Rates.
In Distribution Hub select Channels, then under Configuration select Manage Rates.
Click Edit on the rate plan you wish to map, or unmap.
Scroll down to Quick Conversions.
Tick to map, or untick to unmap, on DBM.
Click Save.
The rate plan will then be visible, or removed, on DBM immediately.
⚠️Important: Once the Quick Conversion has been changed, a resynch for flex rates (if being used) and Restrictions from Rezlynx is required immediately to ensure rates and availability is correct.
Step 2 - Re-sync from Rezlynx PMS
Navigate to Rezlynx PMS, select System, then within the Tools menu select Re-sync.
Within the Distribution Hub section, change the Nights to 30.
Tick Flex Rates, then tick Restrictions and select the rate(s) you have just mapped.
📌Note: rate plans will only show in flex rates if they are using a flex table. This step can be skipped for rate plans using a static rate table.
Click Confirm.
⚠️Important: Re-Sync's should only be performed when a new room and/or rate plan is mapped and for only that Rate Plan.
Map, or unmap, DBM rooms
⚠️Important: When adding new room types, any rate plans with that room applied will automatically be available. Please check all rates on the DBM as soon as the room type is added.
When removing rooms types, please ensure the room type has first been removed from the channel online, prior to removing it within Guestline Distribution Hub.
To map/unmap a room type on your Direct Booking Manager(DBM) follow the steps below:
Navigate to Manage Rooms, in either of the ways outlined below:
In Rezlynx PMS select Distribution Hub, then under Rooms select Manage Rooms.
In Distribution Hub select Channels, then under Configuration select Manage Rooms.
Click Edit on the room type you wish to map or unmap.
Scroll down to Quick Conversions.
Tick to map, or untick to unmap, on DBM.
Click Save.
The DBM should update automatically for you - however you should clear your cache and then review the DBM to see the changes.
