Guestline EPoS: Add, delete and configure terminal print jobs

You can add, delete and configure terminal print jobs in a few easy steps.

Navigate to the EPoS back office, PoS setup then Terminal Pick Lists and Receipt types.

To add a new terminal print job

To add a new terminal print job, follow the steps below:

  1. From the terminals drop-down list at the top of the screen, choose the terminal where the food or drink order will be made.

  2. Click add print job .

  3. From the printer drop-down list, choose the printer where you want this print job to be sent.

    📌 Note: You can add multiple print jobs if needed. You can even select the same print job and printer to have multiple copies printed.

  4. When finished, click Save .

  5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 for other terminals, ensuring you save after each change.

  6. Once all print jobs are configured, clickExit .


To delete an existing terminal print job

To delete an existing terminal print job, follow the steps below:

  1. From the terminals drop-down list, select the terminal where the print job you want to delete is assigned.

  2. Select the print job and click remove print job.

  3. Confirm by clicking OK .

  4. Click Save and then Exit .

📌 Note: System print jobs control the receipt, void and Z read printing and should be configured during installation. For back office terminal, a printer needs to be configured for the reprint Z read feature to work.


To assign the print job to a printer

To assign the print job to a printer, follow the steps below:

  1. Select terminal print jobs.

  2. Select the individual terminals you are setting the print jobs for.

  3. Select add print job.

  4. Under the print job header, selectnew job .

  5. Assign the job to any printer you have.

  6. Click Save .


To configure system print jobs

To configure system print jobs, follow the steps below:

  1. From the terminals drop-down list, choose the terminal you wish to configure.

  2. Next to each system print job , use the drop-down list to select the printer responsible for that specific print job for the selected terminal

  3. After configuring, click Save .

  4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for other terminals, ensuring you save after each change.

  5. Once you have configured all system print jobs, click Exit.
