A fiscal period is a budgetary accounting period. When system date is enabled on Rezlynx you will need to enter your fiscal periods to determine when your end of week, month, and year will run.
Check if you have system date enabled
To check if you have system date enabled please check in the top right of your Guestline Rezlynx screen.
If you see a date in the top right of the screen, as seen in the example below, then system date is enabled.
If you do not have this feature enabled, please contact our team for further details on the benefits of this feature.
Fiscal Periods Warning
A fiscal period warning may also appear when the existing configuration is due to expire. You will see the following warning when logging in to Rezlynx:
Set Fiscal Periods
To set up fiscal periods, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Rezlynx, System, Codes and Rules, and select Fiscal Periods.
Click Add next to the year field.
Select the required year in the drop-down box and click OK.
Enter the start and end date of your fiscal year and click auto generate.
⚠️ Important: Fiscal Periods cannot overlap and you cannot have a gap between fiscal periods.
The fiscal periods will auto-generate for the months and weeks.
Check through each line to ensure they are correct, if you need to amend you can over-type the date or use the calendar selector.
If the weeks or months are incorrect, correct the first two entries and then remove all the rest.
Click add to add the remaining weeks or months, following the same pattern as the first two you corrected.
Once all of the fiscal periods months and weeks are correct click Save at the bottom of the screen.
To add another fiscal year, simply repeat the steps above.
