Guestline Rezlynx: Using Offline Reports and Offline Reports not updating

Key reports downloaded via Rezlynx Browser to your PC—perfect for when you lose internet on site.

Key reports in Rezlynx are downloaded periodically to selected PCs with the Rezlynx Browser installed, usually a minimum of 2 different PCs at your property, these are known as Offline Reports.

If you lose your internet connection or there is a problem accessing Rezlynx, the offline reports will contain information from the last time they auto-updated (every 50 mins approximately).

Available Offline Reports include: Room Balances, Arrivals, Departures, Residents, Availability for the next 10 weeks, and Room Status reports.


Offline Reports Warnings

Offline Reports should auto-update in the background every 50 minutes, but if they have not done so within a 24-hour period or Rezlynx Browser is not installed on any PCs at your property, you will have an error pop up on the screen to advise you they are not updating.

To resolve this warning, follow the steps below:

  1. Close and re-open the Rezlynx Browser application on your PCs Desktop.

    📌Note: Offline reports cannot be accessed and updated via an internet browser like Google Chrome. Use a PC with Rezlynx Browser installed to complete these steps, or contact our Support Team if it's not installed on any PC at your property.

  2. Once the application has opened, click Tools at the top of the screen and select Update Offline Reports.

  3. An onscreen message will confirm the update, and the warning on-site will stop showing within 1 hour.

⚠️Important: If an error is shown when updating the reports, please contact the Support Team for further assistance.


Accessing Offline Reports

To access Offline Reports, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Rezlynx Browser application on your Desktop.

    📌Note: Offline reports cannot be accessed and updated via an internet browser like Google Chrome. Use a PC with Rezlynx Browser installed to complete these steps, or contact our Support Team if it's not installed on any PC at your property.

  2. Once the application has opened, in the Rezlynx Browser, click on View Offline Reports.

  3. Offline reports are shown in the bottom left of the Rezlynx Browser. Click the required report which displays report data as of its last update.


Being Prepared

If you know that you will be losing your internet connection at a specific time during the day, you can do a manual update just prior to this time to ensure your Offline Reports are as up to date as possible.

To manually update the Offline reports, follow the steps below:

  1. Open Rezlynx Browser application on your Desktop.

  2. Once the application has opened, click Tools at the top of the screen and select Update Offline Reports.
