Miscellaneous resource items are equipment and informational items that you need to charge for or add notes to appear on your event and function sheets. They can also be used to track inventory for items to prevent you from overbooking on them.
Once you have created misc. resources these can then be added to an event.
To add misc resources to an event, follow the steps below:
Within the event, select Edit next to the function you wish to add the misc resource to.
Within the function, click Misc Items.
Using the left-hand menu find the misc. resource to be added.

Check the misc. resource information and update if required:
Item name
Quantity
Price
Analysis code
Included in rate plan - will include the item in any package pricing, rather than being an additional cost.
Charge on consumption - will show the price of the item on the Pro-Forma, Event Sheets and Contracts, but will not post the charge when the event is checked in. This is mostly used for items such as beverages, that may need to go through the EPoS (till) system for stock counting purposes.
Click Save and the item will be visible within the functions resources.
Repeat steps 2 to 5 to add more Misc Resources.
🤓 Tip: Use Misc Resources to charge for extra wedding guests or child charges. Some properties use the resources as headers for Events sheets, with the note being the body of the text underneath.
