Process a transaction on your payment terminal. The steps differ depending on whether your terminal is used in standalone mode or integrated with a cash register system.
Start a payment in standalone mode
🤓Tip: Make sure the terminal is powered on and connected before beginning a payment.
After your terminal is set up for standalone use, follow these steps to start a payment:
Enter the transaction amount on the terminal.
Hand the terminal to the customer to complete the payment.
Start a payment from an integrated cash register system
If your terminal is integrated with a cash register system, the payment process starts on the till rather than the terminal.
Each cash register system works differently. If you are unsure how to start a card payment, contact your cash register provider.
Generally, there will be a CARD payment button on the cash register that sends the payment request directly to the terminal.
