Pre-payments, deposits and no card required can be requested from the guest at the time of booking, for specific rate plans, via the Direct Booking Manager (DBM). This functionality only works with DBM, and RoomlynxWS but not OTA's.
How it works
The full pre-payment, deposit, and no card required requests are displayed clearly on the DBM search, as shown below:

The full pre-payments, deposits and no card required can be created and amended at any time.
Prepayments and deposits will automatically populate into Rezlynx PMS and will display on the reservations as monies taken.
Activate no card required option
⚠️Important: No Card required feature requires activation by the Guestline DBM team. Please contact Support to request activation of no card required feature.
Create pre-payment and deposit for specific rate plans
To create pre-payment or deposit requests for specific rate plans, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Payment Config, in either of the ways outlined below:
In Rezlynx PMS select Distribution Hub, then under DBM/RoomlynxAPI select Payment Config
In Distribution Hub select Configuration, then under Rates select Payment Config.
Click Add.
Select Property, then Channel, and then select the Rate plan you want to apply the setting to.
Select the Payment Type from the below options:
Reserve - will request card guarantee only.
Deposit - will request a deposit. Enter the Value of the deposit, and tick if a percentage is to be charged.
Pay Now - will request full payment.
First Night - will request full payment for the cost of the first night at time of booking.
Per Adult - will request a specific payment. Enter the Value of the deposit.
Click Save.
⚠️Important: The DBM should update automatically for you - however you should clear your cache and then review the DBM to see the changes.
Edit pre-payments and deposits for specific rate plans
To edit or change pre-payment or deposit requests for specific rate plans, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Payment Config, in either of the ways outlined below:
In Rezlynx PMS select Distribution Hub, then under DBM/RoomlynxAPI select Payment Config
In Distribution Hub select Configuration, then under Rates select Payment Config.
Click Edit next to the rate plan you wish to change.
Make the changes as required, then click Save.
