If your cash drawer is not opening on your EPoS till, follow these troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Test the cash drawer
Select 'Open Drawer' manually from the till, or
Process a transaction, which normally triggers the drawer to open.
Step 2: Check for common issues
Manual key lock : Ensure the cash drawer is not locked with the key.
Loose cables : Inspect the cables connecting the cash drawer to the till for any loose connections.
Step 3: Check the printer connection (If applicable)
If your cash drawer is connectedthrough the receipt printer , check the following:
Ensure the cables between the till, printer, and cash drawer are all properly connected.
Test the printer by attempting to print a receipt:
If the printer fails to print, the issue might be with the printer or its connection to the till.
