The Closure by Rate area in Distribution Hub is used for two elements which don't currently update from the Rezlynx rate plan, these are:
Close a rate out when the hotel reaches a certain occupancy
Set the rate plan to stay closed for a lead time
Set advanced purchase lead times
Once set, the 'Closure by Rate' restrictions can be viewed on the Restrictions Grid as orange.
Closure by Rate
To close by rate, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Closure by Rates, in either of the ways outlined below:
In Rezlynx PMS select Distribution Hub, then under Restrictions select Closure by Rate.
In Distribution Hub select Configuration, then under Restrictions select Closure by Rate.
Select the Property, Rate Plan, and Channel.
Click Add. Check that the Property, Rate Plan, and Channel are correct.
Add a Description - this is for hotel use only for ease of reference.
Add the percentage in the Open cell when the rate plan is to open.
Tip: Using 200 as an occupancy number will mean that the restriction is always on.
Add the percentage in the Close cell when the rate plan is to close.

Add the Days From which the closure will start.
Tip: Distribution hub sees day 0 as day 1.
Add the Days To which the closure will end.
Click Save.

To check the closure by rate has been set as expected, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Restrictions Grid in either of the ways outlined below:
In Rezlynx PMS select Distribution Hub, then under Restrictions select Restrictions Grid.
In Distribution Hub select Configuration, then under Restrictions select Restrictions Grid.
Select the correct Property, then tick Channel and select the channel you set the restrictions on.
Check that the availability and restrictions are showing as expected - these will be shown in orange.
