Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) can be reset should a user be unable to access their MFA account, or if the user does not have access to their MFA device, then you can have an option to regain access using a recovery code.

Reset Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
If a user is unable to access their account because they can’t complete MFA, a colleague with the "Update Permissions” User permission will need to reset MFA for them.
⚠️Important: For security reasons, Guestline are unable to reset a user’s multi-factor authentication. Reset can only be performed by Admin users.
To reset & recover Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for another user, please follow the steps below:
Log in to the SSO platform homepage and navigate to Users.
Select the required user account from the list of users.
Within the users account, under Security, click Reset MFA.
4. Carefully read the warning shown on screen, and select Yes to continue. A confirmation of the reset will appear in the bottom left corner of the screen.
⚠️Important: When the user logs in next, they will need to enable MFA again.
Recover Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
If you do not have access to your MFA device, then you can regain access using the recovery code.
To recover access to your MFA device, follow the steps below:
Log in to Guestline platform homepage, entering your usual username/email and password.
You will be requested to Verify Your Identity, click Try another method.
3. Select Recovery code, and a code is displayed on screen.
4. Enter the recovery code that you were prompted to save through the MFA enrolment process and press Continue.
5. When prompted, copy the recovery code and safely store the code. Tick to confirm you have recorded the code and select Continue.
6. Once completed, you will be returned to Rezlynx Log In screen. Log in with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
