Advanced C&B log reports show the logs for changes made by users to events or enquiries.
This report specifically addresses: Event Logs.
Overview of the Report
This report shows activity on Advanced C&B Events including who created the event and any changes made to the event or functions since. You can search by multiple filters, either use a date range, and event reference or a function booking reference. Once you have selected your search parameters you can narrow down the criteria.
How to run the report
To run the report, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Rezlynx, Help, C&B Logs, Events.
Within the Change Log, select one or more of the report filters to narrow the search criteria. The report filters include:
Start Date - click to type date or select icon to search the calendar to select date.
Note: Logs are stored for 18 months please keep this in mind when selecting a Date to search from.
End Date - click to type date or select icon to search the calendar to select date.
Event ID - this is the unique reference for the event, usually starting with EVNT.
Function Booking Ref - this is the unique reference for the function, usually starting with BK.
Tip: Use either the Event ID or the Booking Ref - not both fields. The Event ID and the Function Booking Ref can be found in the bottom left corner of any event or function booking.
Entity Type - the entity belongs to the action, choose from Event, Function, Miscellaneous Item, Food & Beverage item/menu, to do, delegate. You can choose an individual entity, or multiple. To select them all, leave the drop down box empty.
Action Type - this drop down box shows you all options for editing an event. If you leave the box empty it will bring all of the action types up on the report. You can select an individual type or multiple if required.
Order By - choose the way that the report orders the information displayed. Choose between Date, Operator, Action Type, Event Reference, Booking Reference.
Operator - leave this blank to return all operators, or select specific system users as required.
Click View and select the output format from the drop-down.
📌 Note: The report filters do not save, and will return to their default settings once you have navigated away from this page.
Report output
In the report output, the columns from left to right show: the date (DD/MM/YYYY) and time the action was performed, the unique Event reference, the Function reference, the operator is the user account that performed the action, the entity, a brief outline of the action performed, and description of the changes made. Changes made are clearly shown in the Description, with an entry stating "was altered from [ ] to [ ]".

Export to any of the available formats does not retrieve any additional information.

False or True - indicates whether a checkbox is selected (True) or not selected (False).
